ACTAsia is registered as a non-profit organisation in the UK, the Netherlands, and Australia, with 501(c)3 in the USA. It also has offices in China, as well as several international representatives. ACTAsia was established in 2006 by an Asian sociologist and an Asian veterinarian, with an aim to support the development of caring societies in Asia, respecting all forms of life.
